Blackout in PA



South Middleton, PA:
NOVEMBER 21ST- Vandalism at South middleton's electrical substation was the sourse of last wensdays power outage that blacked out part of three counties according to police at Charlisle. they say the outage- which knocked out power to 20,000 costomers in adams, cumberalnd, and york counties- was caused when someone shot at the electrical "sting" insulators that hold high voltage wires at the Zion Road substation. South Middleton, Dickenson, and Monroe townships where affected. the sabotage coused $300,000 dollars in damage. power was out for up to six hours, some schools where caused to close.
