Wild Edible of the Day: wood sorrel/spinnich dock

this is a new plant in my indentification repertoire, and is also my new favorite green. it is a perennial and is related to the smaller but just as tasty, sheep sorrel. this one however is much bigger and just as tasty so it can be more than just a snack. it has a nice lemony flavor and is a hearty green which quenches thirst! i know it grows here in south eastern US, and in europe, but beyond that i am unsure. its medicinal qualities include helping with bladder and kidney stones. highly recomended.
